If you’re a fan of all things sea glass, then you had better mark this event on your calendar. This year, the Lewes Historical Society hosts the Mid-Atlantic Sea Glass & Coastal Arts Festival on the campus at 110 Shipcarpenter Street. There will be an array of activities, entertainment and vendors across the weekend, but the primary draw will be the countless artisans displaying beautiful coastal creations, so head on over between 9am and 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Clean, reasonable, and close to a charming beach and loads of good restaurants within walking distance. Why this place isn’t booked solid throughout the summer is a mystery. The staff is nice and the pool is terrific.
