Yes. All our rooms come with free WiFi and it should be available throughout the building.

Yes, we have an elevator to take you to each floor.

We love pets, but we can only accept service animals or emotional support animals.

Yes, we have free parking in our large, on-site lot around the entire premises.
Are your rooms handicap accessible?
Not all of our rooms are handicap accessible, but some contain handicap fixtures in the bathroom. Please speak to us before booking if you have any special requirements and we’ll be happy to help accommodate you for a comfortable stay.
Do you have any suites?
We don’t have any suites at this time, but we do have connecting rooms available in each style of room.
Do any of your rooms have a balcony?
Yes. All our rooms come with a private balcony for you to enjoy.

Feeling hungry? We have vending machines on site where you can grab a quick drink or bite to eat.

Can you tell me more about the Cape May-Lewes Ferry?
The Cape May-Lewes Ferry (CMLF) is one mile away, and while there isn’t a shuttle direct from the ferry to The Beacon Inn, there is a seasonal shuttle that picks up and drops off from town, just a short walk away.
Where is the nearest fishing pier?
The nearest and best fishing pier is located within the Cape Henlopen State Park. It’s accessible 24/7 but you must have a valid fishing license.
Can we charter a boat in Lewes?
The Fisherman’s Wharf is just a stone’s throw away from us and can provide everything you need for chartering a boat.
Are there private charters in the local area?
There are many private charters in the area - too many to list here. Give our team a call for recommendations.
Can you tell me more about kayaks and launch sites?
You’re in luck! The excellent Quest Kayaks is based on our property and can provide rentals, as well as pick-up and drop-off transport to launch sites.
Are there any bike paths nearby?
The Beacon Inn is fortunate enough to have direct access to the State Park trail just one block away, while pretty much all bike paths can be accessed throughout Lewes.

Lewes Beach is an easy three blocks away, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
How far is it to the downtown area?
The downtown area of Lewes is two blocks away, which is approximately a 7-minute walk.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, absolutely. You can purchase these at many of the bait and tackle shops dotted around, along with all your fishing supply needs.
Where can I store my bicycle?
We have secure indoor bike storage on our premises at The Beacon Inn, and we keep this locked at night.
