April: Downtown Lewes

With a Dutch heritage, each year the Lewes In Bloom organization sponsors events for a tulip celebration. Multiple sites across the Downtown Lewes area hold different events, with previous years including a walking tour, flower sales, and art exhibitions. It’s a great way to get a feel for some of the history of the region with a burst of color in spring.

Late July through Early August: Harrington Raceway and Casino

Rehoboth Art League Fine Art & Craft Show

August: Rehoboth Beach

This year sees the 48th annual Fine Art & Fine Craft show. It will take place at the Henlopen Acres campus and is a great way to see some fantastic artwork – you can even purchase pieces to take back home with you. In addition to the great art, there will also be food, live music, activities for children, and demonstrations from artists.

August: Rehoboth Beach & Dewey Beach Resort Area

Unable to hold this festival in 2020, with the reopening of Dewey Beach the region is looking forward to welcoming back the Summer Vibes Fest that brought skaters and skimboarders to the area. This event usually extends to live music, events, and games, making it a great day out for all.

September: The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway
